Channel Account Statuses Explained
Your Filmhub channel account will always be in one of three statuses: Hidden, Active, or On Hold. Understanding what each one means will help you know what to expect when it comes to licensing titles and receiving deliveries.
Hidden
Hidden is the starting status for all new channel accounts. It typically means one of the following:
- Your account is newly created and still being configured
- Your channel is currently being onboarded
While in Hidden status, you can browse the catalog and license titles, but deliveries will not flow until your account is moved to Active. This lets you get familiar with the library and queue up titles before going live.
If you have licensed titles and are waiting on deliveries, check with your account manager to confirm your account has been moved to Active.
Active
Active is the normal operating status. When your account is Active:
- You can browse and license titles
- Deliveries are triggered automatically when you license a title
- You should expect to receive files within 3 to 5 business days of licensing

On Hold
On Hold means your account has been temporarily paused. This is usually due to:
- An outstanding payment or reporting issue
- A re-onboarding process
- An account configuration issue that needs to be resolved
When your account is On Hold:
- Deliveries are paused
If you find yourself unable to click the License button on titles, your account may be On Hold. You will typically be notified by your account manager when this happens. To get your account reactivated, reach out to your account manager or contact channel-operations@filmhub.com.
