Delivery Timeline and What to Expect

Once you license a title in Filmhub, delivery is triggered automatically. Here is what happens next and what to do if something does not arrive on time.

How Delivery Works

Licensing a title starts the delivery pipeline. Filmhub will package the title's assets and deliver them to your configured endpoint (S3, SFTP, or other). The standard package includes:

  • Video file
  • Metadata
  • Artwork
  • Captions
  • Trailer (when available)

How Long Does Delivery Take?

Most titles are delivered within 3 to 5 business days of licensing.

Some titles may take longer due to:

  • The title being in quality control (QC) review
  • A rights or avails issue that needs to be resolved
  • A delivery configuration issue on your account
  • High delivery volume

How to Check License Status

You can track the status of your licensed titles from your Filmhub dashboard. Use the Avails filter on the catalog to see titles by license status:

  • Licensed — Title has been licensed, and the delivery is in process.
  • Removed — Title has been removed from your channel or rights have expired

For a more detailed view of a specific title, open the title page and check the status shown there.


Common Reasons a Delivery May Be Delayed

Title is back in QC. If a quality issue is flagged after licensing, the title will be sent back through quality control before it can be delivered. This adds time to the process.

Account is not Active. Deliveries will not flow if your account is in Hidden or On Hold status. See Channel Account Statuses Explained to learn more.

Rights issue. If there is a conflict with the title's avails or territory settings, delivery may be paused until it is resolved.

Delivery configuration. If your file transfer settings are not correctly configured, deliveries may fail silently. Confirm your setup in Account Settings.


File Naming

Filmhub delivery assets include a combination of the title SKU and title name in a URL-safe naming convention. This ensures consistency and prevents issues with special characters or duplicate names. See Why We Name Files With Title SKUs for more details.
