Overview

Navigation: Click on Updates in the left-hand menu of your dashboard.

Updates gives you visibility into everything happening with your titles distributed by Filmhub. Navigate to Updates in your left-hand menu to see your title's progress all in one centralized feed. The feature is in beta with the latest five events available on our core / free plan, while Plus and Pro subscribers get access to 12 months of activity history, giving you complete transparency into your titles' journey from pitch to placement.

Announcing Updates as a beta feature

• This is the first feature we’re releasing in beta. Beta releases let us get tools into your hands sooner so we can gather feedback and improve both the design and your client experience before finalizing the feature. During beta, what’s available for free vs. paid plans may continue to evolve as we focus on delivering the most value to our subscribers. Currently, the latest five events are included in the core (free) plan, while Plus and Pro subscribers can access all events from the past 12 months.

Note: Updates data shows internal Filmhub activity and channel engagement. This information is confidential to your account and should not be shared publicly.

Activity Feed

The activity feed displays all events related to your titles in chronological order, with the most recent activity at the top. Each event shows the date, time, title name, and specific action that occurred. Events are updated in real-time as they happen across the Filmhub platform.

Event Types

Updates tracks six key types of updates ( more are coming soon):

• Pitches: When Filmhub submits your title to a channel for consideration
• Channel Activity: When channels review your title page or watch your trailer
• Referral Status: Changes to your referral program status and earnings
• Licenses: Creation, modification, or termination of licensing agreements
• Title Updates: Changes made to your title's metadata, assets, or settings
• QC Status: Quality control progress and status changes
• Title Live: Powered by JustWatch, notifies when your title is live on a JustWatch supported channel*

Plan Limits

Updates is available in beta to all users with different access levels:

• Core/Free Plan: View the latest 5 events across all your titles
• Plus and Pro Plans: Access up to 12 months of complete activity history

Data refreshes automatically as new events occur, giving you the most current view of your titles' activity across Filmhub.

*Title Live

This feature is only supported if an IMDb link is attached to your title and is on a JustWatch supported channel ( See list below ). If you're noticing errors in your Live events, please follow the steps below. 

How to Make a Request to JustWatch

Please send a request to JustWatch at the email, priority-content-support@justwatch.com and include the following information. Note that the more detailed you are the faster they can update your association:

1. Mention that you’re a Filmhub Partner
2. Search and find your title on JustWatch
   1. If you find the title, please provide the link in the email
   2. If you can’t find the title on JustWatch, please mention that in the email
3. Provide your title’s IMDb URL for JustWatch to identify in their database.
4. What  available rights did you provide to Filmhub. Include the license types (for example, Transactional, Subscription, and Ad Supported and also the Countries. You can find this information in the AVAILS tab on for the title in the Filmhub app.
5. If the title is being distributed transactionally, include the price for BUY and for RENT, or if it is Ad Supported or Subscription.

Note: While Filmhub distributes to hundreds of channels, not all have been integrated with JustWatch yet.
