My Titles: Managing Titles and Tracking Updates
How to add, edit, and track status updates for your Movies and Shows
In this guide:
Click 'Add' on the 'My Titles' page and select whether you are uploading a Movie (Single Work) or Show (Series with at least 2 episodes).
- If you are uploading a Pilot and do not have additional episodes to support a multi-episode Show, please upload it as a Movie.
- To learn more about what's required to submit your Movie or Show in our article How To: Submit Your Title to QC.

Adding New Seasons to an Active Show
If your Show has already passed QC and is Active for licensing, you can add new seasons by submitting a Title Update Request.
Seasons must be complete with all episodes when you submit. Individual episodes cannot be added to or deleted from a season if the Show has been Active.
To edit a title that has not previously been submitted to QC, click on the individual Movie or Show and select 'Edit'. Once your listing is ready to be reviewed by QC, click 'Submit'.
- Remember to click 'Save Progress' after any changes that are made before clicking 'Submit'.
🚨 Please note:
- All Active titles are locked for distribution and uneditable. Making changes to artwork, captions, or videos are considered Professional Services and do incur upfront fees (see more information here). If you decide to apply changes to an Active title, please submit a title update request.
- All titles In Review are locked and uneditable until the QC technician completes their review. If the title is moved to Action Needed you will be able to make edits. If the title passes QC and is made Active, please submit a title update request.
Once logged into your account, click on the 'My Titles' page.

'My Titles' displays all of the Movies and Shows you have added to your Filmhub account. You can also filter your titles by QC Status using the drop-down filter in the upper right-hand corner.

Title Status Definitions
- Incomplete - The listing page for the Movie or Show has not been completed and submitted to QC (Quality Control) for review.
- Submitted - The Movie or Show has been successfully submitted to QC and is awaiting QC review.
- In Review - A QC technician is reviewing all the assets and listing information associated with your Movie or Show. Titles submitted to Premium QC generally take 5-10 business days, or are expedited if you are on our Plus or Pro Plan.
- Action Needed = The Movie or Show you submitted did not pass our QC review. Any identified issues must be resolved and the title re-reviewed through QC before we can begin the distribution process.
- If there’s something wrong, you will see an Action Needed status, and we will send you an email with details and instructions.
- Please check your email inbox, spam, and promotions folders for the title’s QC Fail Reasons.
- An Action Needed status allows you to make changes.
- Once you are able to make all the changes we requested, you can resubmit the title for QC again.
- If your title does not pass QC within three attempts, we will be unable to accept additional QC submissions for that title. We strongly recommend reviewing the QC email and all of our requirements in detail.
- Active - The Movie or Show successfully passed QC and is eligible to be pitched to Filmhub’s Channel Partners.
- Please note that if the title has not passed Premium QC, it may not be pitched to Channel Partners that require it.
- Inactive - The Movie or Show was previously Active but has since been removed from Filmhub’s catalog and is no longer being pitched to Channels.
Once logged into your account, click on the 'Home' page and navigate down to the section on the left-hand side that reads ‘Licensing Status.’

Licensing Status Definitions
Licensing Status includes four (4) key columns:
- Last Update: Date of the last status update.
- Channel: The Channel that licensed your Movie or Show.
- Title: The Movie or Show being licensed.
- Status: Current state of the license.
- Licensed - A Channel has agreed to license your Movie or Show. This does not imply that your title is live and available to viewers on the Channel. See the FAQs below for go-live timelines as well as Performance and payment timelines
- Removed - The Channel has removed the license for your Movie or Show, and the title is no longer available to viewers on that Channel. Your Movie or Show is no longer available to viewers on that Channel. See the FAQs below for why Movies and Shows are 'Removed'.

What Happens If My Title Does Not Pass QC?
- If your title did not pass QC because certain requirements were not met, you will see an Action Needed status, and we will send you an email with details and instructions of what assets must be corrected.
- Titles in Action Needed allow you to make changes.
- Once you are able to make all the changes we requested, you can resubmit the title for QC again.
- Important Note: If your title does not pass QC within three (3) attempts, we will be unable to re-QC your title so please review all requirements in detail.
How Can I Tell if My Title Is Live on a Channel?
- Select Channels will report when the title is live. You can find these in your 'Updates'.
- Once your title has a Licensed status, it generally takes Channels 2–12 weeks to make your title live. This depends on each Channel and is out of Filmhub’s control. We recommend visiting the Channel's platform and searching for your Title.
- If your title has not gone live after 12 weeks, contact us and we’ll follow up with the Channel. It is possible that the Channel is taking longer to push it live due to their internal release schedules or they have decided not to take the title live.
Can Filmhub Provide Me With a Live URL for My Title on a Given Channel?
- Select Channels will report when the title is live. You can find these in your 'Updates'.
- Alternatively, you will have to search for this yourself if it is not a channel that is supported in the Updates.
- Since some Channels distribute content across platforms such as Roku, Xumo, Pluto TV, Fire TV, and iOS, a direct URL to your title may not always be available.
Why was my Title Removed by a Channel?
- Channels may remove titles when their content policies, programming strategies, or other internal requirements change. Channels do not always provide a specific reason for removal, and Filmhub may not have the ability to appeal these decisions.
- You will be paid for all views until your title is taken down according to the normal earnings Schedule.
Will I Know If My Title Was Declined by a Channel?
- No, our Dashboard doesn’t display rejected pitches as most Channels will skip the titles that they are not interested in at that time.
When Will I See My First Performance Reports?
- Performance metrics may not be available immediately after your title goes live. Depending on the Channel's reporting schedule, it can sometimes take upwards of 6 months after delivery before performance data becomes available.
- Check the Schedule tab in your Dashboard for information regarding expected timeframes for receiving performance data and payments, as well as historical data for payments received from Channels.
- See here for further details on ‘Performance'.
- Performance reports may vary from your actual earnings received.
