Our Recent Subscription Changes: Frequently Asked Questions

We recently announced some changes to all three tiers of Filmhub plan. Below, you’ll find answers to common questions regarding these changes.

Why is Filmhub making these changes?

It’s always been our mission to secure creative freedom and unlimited economic opportunity for every filmmaker. And for the best part of a decade now, we’ve done just that, working with thousands of producers, partnering with 200+ channels, and helping thousands of films and shows achieve the success they deserve.

Filmhub is a people business. Behind the dashboard is a growing team of industry experts working directly with and for every single client, paying or otherwise, to help their titles reach their commercial potential.

We love working with all our clients, but providing this level of one-on-one support is incredibly expensive. And as we grow, it simply isn’t sustainable.

Rather than compromise on the quality of service we offer, we’ve opted to adjust the features and services available to clients on each plan.

What’s changing for the (free) Core plan?

  • Email support is no longer included in the Core plan. Core clients still have access to the Help Center and our Facebook community, and can contact us for any critical issues.
  • Standard QC now makes it faster and easier to submit your titles.
  • Premium QC is available on demand, for a fee.
  • The Performance and Amazon Insights pages are now exclusive to paid plans
  • The Filmhub Dashboard’s new home page provides a streamlined overview of the past six months’ gross earnings and estimates.

What’s changing for Filmhub Plus?

  • The Plus plan now includes live chat support directly in the dashboard.
  • Email support is still available.
  • Standard QC now makes it faster and easier to submit your titles, priority QC is still included as a part of your subscription for Standard and Premium QC
  • One Premium QC per year is included as part of the Plus plan. Additional verifications can be purchased as needed.
  • A new Performance page is now available with major upgrades to both transparency and usability
  • Amazon Insights are now exclusive to Pro and Plus plans.
  • The Filmhub Dashboard’s new home page provides a streamlined overview of the past six months’ gross earnings and estimates.

  • Support is still available via email and live chat.
  • Standard QC now makes it faster and easier to submit your titles.
  • Two Premium QC submissions per year are included as part of the Pro plan. Additional verifications can be purchased as needed and includes the 25% discount for professional services.
  • A new Performance page is now available with major upgrades to both transparency and usability
  • Amazon Insights are now exclusive to Pro and Plus plans.
  • The Filmhub Dashboard’s new home page provides a streamlined overview of the past six months’ gross earnings and estimates.

What is Standard QC?

Standard QC is a simple verification, included in all plans, that ensures your title meets Filmhub’s own content and technical standards, along with that of most channels.

What is Premium QC?

Premium QC is an in-depth, paid professional service with detailed feedback from our team. Passing Premium QC means guaranteed worldwide distribution on Relay ( for SVOD avails ) and an assurance that your title meets the rigorous standards of our top channel partners including Amazon, Apple, and Tubi.

Do I need to pay for Premium QC?

  • Core clients can pay for titles as required.
  • Plus clients receive Premium QC for one title per year as part of their subscription and pay for any additional Premium QC submissions they need.
  • Pro clients receive Premium QC for two titles per year as part of their subscription and pay for any additional Premium QC submissions they need with a 25% discount for the Professional Service.
  • Filmhub prioritizes Plus and Pro clients for Standard and Premium QC

How can I get support?

Access to Filmhub’s support team is now exclusive to Plus and Pro plans as well as Core clients who have earned $20,000+ in Gross Estimates over a rolling 12-month period. Clients with either subscription can contact our team directly from the Filmhub Dashboard using live chat or via support@filmhub.com.

All clients can consult the Help Center or post in our Facebook community to receive peer support.

What happens if my title was currently in QC when the changes were announced?

If your title had been submitted but has not yet cleared QC, we’ll contact you via email with further instructions.

Has Filmhub’s pricing changed?

The pricing of Filmhub’s subscriptions remains the same as before.

Premium QC is a new service, and is priced at $499 for Core clients or Plus clients who have already used their annual allowance. Pro clients receive a 25% discount on all professional services, so will be charged $374.25 for any additional verifications.

Where is the Performance page?

The old Performance page has been deprecated for Core clients and replaced by a streamlined overview of gross estimates and earnings on the Filmhub Dashboard’s new home page.

Pro and Plus clients have access to the upgraded Performance page with new tools for uncovering marketing insights.

Where are Amazon Insights?

The Amazon Insights page is now exclusive to Pro and Plus plans.

What’s new in the upgraded Performance page?

The new Performance page introduces upgrades to both transparency and usability, exclusively for Filmhub subscribers:

  • All estimates and earnings data is now gross, making it easier to make direct comparisons.
  • A new detail pane breaks down gross estimates and earnings by channel, showing you which have already paid out, and which are yet to pay.
  • There are new ways to filter and visualize data.
  • The page loads faster and is easier to use.
