Trailers and Marketing Assets

Every licensed title comes with a standard set of assets, including video, artwork, captions, and metadata. This article covers what to expect in a delivery, how trailers work, and how you can use delivered assets for your own marketing.

What Assets Come With a Title Delivery?

Every Filmhub title delivery includes the assets that were available and approved during the quality control process. The standard package for a single title includes:

  • Main video file — H.264 MP4, up to 1920x1080
  • Trailer — included where available
  • Artwork — at minimum, 2:3, 3:4, and 16:9 images; additional ratios (16:6, 4:3, 2:1) where available
  • Captions — all available caption languages as SRT files
  • Metadata — a CSV file with full title metadata

Trailers

Trailers are included in the delivery package when a producer has provided one and it has passed quality control. Not every title has a trailer.

Whether a trailer appears on your platform's public storefront is determined by your platform, not Filmhub. Some platforms display trailers prominently; others do not show them on the public-facing storefront but may use them internally for content decisions.

Using Artwork for Your Own Marketing

The artwork delivered with a title can be used to promote content on your platform, in your app, or in your own marketing materials.

When using artwork from a delivery, use the files delivered with the title. Screenshots or frames from the video should not be used as substitutes for official artwork.

Filmhub will update you should a specific title have restrictions around marketing and modifications to the delivered artwork.

Requesting Custom Collections or Curated Packages

Questions About Specific Assets

If a title was delivered without a trailer or artwork you expected, or if assets appear to be missing or incorrect, contact your account manager or email channel-operations@filmhub.com with the title name and SKU.
