How to resolve common upload issues
In this guide:
Common Upload Errors
When uploading your video, you may occasionally encounter an error. Below are the most common reasons for these errors:
-
Corrupt video file: This means the video file is damaged and our system was unable to process it. Most often, this error is the result of a “corrupt decoded frame.”
-
Odd-numbered width or height: Your video’s dimensions must be even numbers (e.g., 1920x1080, not 1921x1081).
- Audio stream shorter than video stream: Your video must have audio and video streams of equal length.
If you see that your video has been processing for more than 24 hours, the upload probably failed. Try the below fixes before contacting support.
How to Fix These Errors
-
Corrupt video file: Re-export your video from your editing software and upload the new file. If the file continues to fail after exporting using the same codec, try exporting using a different codec.
-
Odd-numbered width or height: Change your resolution to standard even-numbered sizes before exporting.
- Audio stream shorter than video stream: Ensure audio and video have the same duration in your export settings.
