Quality Control (QC) is the process Filmhub uses to verify that your title's assets (video, audio, captions, artwork, and metadata) are technically correct, complete, and ready for distribution before they reach viewers or channel partners. Every title submitted to Filmhub goes through QC. This acts as a compliance check to confirm your assets meet the technical requirements of our channel partners, so your title can go live smoothly and without delay. #### Why QC Matters - **Channel compliance:** Streaming platforms (Amazon, Tubi, Apple TV, and others) each have their own technical requirements for the video, audio, and caption files they accept. QC confirms your title meets those requirements before we deliver it. - **Licensing opportunities:** Passing QC is what makes your title eligible to be pitched to our channel partners. The tier of QC you pass determines which partners your title can be considered for. #### What Gets Reviewed QC covers: - Video (format, quality, no read errors) - Audio (format, quality, sync) - Captions (format, sync with audio) - Artwork - Metadata ### Standard QC vs. Premium QC **Standard QC** is included on every plan. It checks that your title meets Filmhub's content and technical standards and those of smaller, niche channels, and that it follows our [content policy](https://help.filmhub.com/en/articles/2663759-review-our-content-policy?hsLang=en). Standard QC does not qualify a title for pitch consideration to premium channel partners. **Premium QC** is an in-depth review against the requirements of our premium channel partners, including Amazon Prime Video, Tubi, The Roku Channel, Pluto TV, Vizio, Samsung TV Plus, and YouTube Movies & TV. - Premium QC is included with Basic, Premium, and Premium Plus through each plan's yearly Premium QC credits (5, 10, or 20). It can't be purchased per title. See [Plans & Pricing](https://help.filmhub.com/plans?hsLang=en). - Titles that pass Premium QC get guaranteed worldwide distribution on Relay for SVOD, and can be pitched to our premium channel partners. Passing does not guarantee a pitch by our sales team. - On paid plans, our team can also adjust your title's assets to meet channel requirements through our Asset Adjustment Service. In short: Standard QC opens the door to some of our channel partners. Premium QC opens the door to all of them. ### After QC When QC is complete, we'll email you your results. If your title needs changes and you're on Basic, Premium, or Premium Plus, you can [reply to that email with questions](https://help.filmhub.com/getting-help-with-your-qc-results?hsLang=en). If your title passes, our Licensing team starts pitching it to channels that match its content and technical profile. Individual channels may still send their own requests during delivery. This is a normal part of matching a title to a partner. If your title doesn't pass, your results will show what needs to be adjusted along with what Filmhub is able to address if you are on a paid plan.
