Channels: Reviewing Filmhub's Channels

In's and Out's of the Channels tab on your Dashboard

Filmhub facilitates the licensing of Movies and Shows by content exhibitors, such as streaming services. We refer to content exhibitors as "Channels."

You can learn about Channels that license titles via Filmhub through your Dashboard. To see a list of all Channels, log in and click on the "Channels" tab. Here you will see a list of more than 120 active Channel partners grouped by category.

 

For a closer look at each Channel, you can click on their individual profile pages to learn more.

 

Each Channel page provides you with basic information about the Channel:

  • Name: The name of the Channel

  • Brands: Several Channel partners operate multiple brands that are available to consumers

  • Location: Country of headquarters

  • Duration Requirement: Minimum video runtime required (this can vary by Channel)

  • License Types: The consumer business model(s) offered by the Channel

  • Content: Key programming types they are looking to license

  • Curation Level: The amount of criteria the Channel uses when considering a title

    • Low: The Channel has a low amount of content qualification criteria

    • Medium: The Channel has a medium amount of content qualification criteria
      High: The Channel has a high amount of content qualification criteria

    • Uncurated: The Channel has very lenient content qualification criteria

  • How to watch: The devices and/or platforms on which the Channel is accessible

  • Distribution Territories: The countries in which the Channel is available

We are regularly adding new Channels and updating information about existing Channels, so check in often to see what’s new.

Important Note: 🔒 Channels with a lock icon next to their name are Channels to which we are no longer actively licensing.

Filmhub regularly adds new Channels. Per our Terms & Conditions, your title is automatically available to all Channels, including new Channels; subject, of course, to any managed rights you may have established. For more information, see How to Manage Your Avails (Available Rights).
