      Statements: Understanding Verified Transactions

      How to read and understand the Statements page.

      Statements & Verified Transactions Overview

      As soon as Filmhub is paid by a Channel, the funds are made available to verify. Clients must verify they hold the rights to their titles before they can transfer funds to their PayPal (see Transfer: Verify & Transfer Earnings).

      Once earnings are verified and transferred, they show as Deposits under 'Verified Transactions'.

      Statements Page Overview

      • Deposits represent earnings that have been Verified & Transferred
      • There is one line per earning from a Channel.
        • Some Channels report one earning amount per month, and some report per view, rental, purchase, or impression.

      Statement Definitions

      • Date - The date that the earnings were paid by the Channel
      • Type - The type of transaction.
        • Credit -  Any transaction that increases the balance of your account.
        • Debit - Any transaction that decreases the balance of your account.
        • Transfer request - Any outstanding transfer requests that have not yet been fulfilled .
        • Transfer - Completed transfer requests (this includes transfers in a Success, Failed, or Canceled state).
        • Transfer fee - The fee charged by PayPal to complete the transfer.
        • Reversed transfer - Transfers that have been returned to Filmhub from PayPal.
        • Deposit - Earnings received from Channels for revenue your title(s) earn.
        • Adjustment - Amounts applied towards or against your account by Filmhub. This is how we charge against earnings for requested Professional Services.
        • Referral - Payments received from referral agreements.
      • Info - Extra information about the transaction such as if it failed, what Channel or Title it relates to.
        • Success = Transfer has deposited into your connected PayPal account.
        • Failed = Transfers were not successfully deposited. Please make sure you add the correct PayPal email on the Taxes page.
        • Unclaimed = Please troubleshoot with PayPal. If you are still experiencing issues, please contact support@filmhub.com.
      • For Period From & Ending - The License Period in which the Channel reported the amounts were paid for.

      Filtering Statements

      • You can filter your view to show only Debit, Credit, Transfer request, Transfer, Transfer fee, Reversed transfer, Deposit, Adjustment, Referral, or click "All" to see all transactions.

      Exporting and Downloading Your Statements

      • Your Statements can be downloaded in the Statements section by clicking 'Export CSV'.
      • Statement CSV exports include both gross earnings (before Filmhub’s commission) and net earnings (after Filmhub’s commission).

      Frequently Asked Questions

      Q: Why isn't my Statements page updating?

      • Your Statements page will only show transactions that have been Verified & Transferred.
      • To Verify & Transfer earnings, go to the Transfer page and click 'Start Verification & Calculate Earnings'. Once the transfer request has been completed (~ 2-3 business days) the transactions will become 'Verified' and populate in the Statements page.

      Q: How can I see the gross amount earned before Filmhub's revenue share?

      • Statement CSV exports include both gross earnings (before Filmhub’s commission) and net earnings (after Filmhub’s commission).
      • You can access the CSV export by clicking 'Export CSV' in the top right corner of the Verified Transactions section on the Statements page.
