Rights Challenge - Notice of Infringement

At Filmhub protection of copyright is a top priority. We only accept titles from persons who have rights to those titles. We have robust rights management tools (find out more). Of course, rights management is an often complicated area and disputes over rights arise from time to time.

If you are an intellectual property rights owner and believe that a title on Filmhub infringes your rights, this is the place to let us know. You must be the actual rights owner or an authorized agent in order for us to act on your claim, such as copyright or trademark.

As with all legal matters, it is always best to consult an attorney about your specific situation. Filmhub encourages you to do so before taking any action that might impact your rights. This article is not legal advice and should not be taken as such.

For more information, including references to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), please check out our Terms & Conditions.

The DMCA requires that you swear to the facts in your Allegation of Infringement under  penalty of perjury. It is a federal crime to intentionally lie in a sworn declaration. Submitting false information could also result in civil liability (a lawsuit for damages).

We suggest, but do not require, that you attempt to resolve your claims informally.

We can only accept DMCA Allegations of Infringement that are complete.

Intellectual property issues are complicated and complex, we recommend that you work with an attorney to make sure that your Allegation of Infringement is well founded.

You may receive a Counter Notice to your Allegation of Infringement. If we receive such a notice, we are required to respect the Counter Notice.

Filmhub does not have discretion. All we do is confirm whether or not the Allegation of Infringement and  Counter Notice meet the minimum requirements of the DMCA.
